Vanness Pen Shop Haul
Good evening, loves. I’m so excited to share with you this amazing haul from Vanness Pen Shop. Everything I will be sharing with you were gifted to me and they were also kind enough to give me a code to share! 10% OFF with code CHARMAINE (excludes TWSBI & Galen Leather).
UY Design Magic Carpet with Infinite Star Seljuks design – Pen Stand
How adorable is this pen stand? It’s made of brass and has a varnished cover to prevent tarnishing. Honestly saw this and immediately added it to my wish list.
Robert Oster Vanness Hemp: A medium avocado green ink with medium shading. Truly a lovely shade of green, that’s perfect for spring! I can not wait to use this one.
Van Dieman’s Birds of a Feather, Mandrin Duck Nape: This color caught me by surprise. It’s a beautiful teal with red sheening. I love that this teal is not super bright and light. I can actually see myself using this one.
Van Dieman’s Birds of a Feather, Laughing Kookaburra Crest: Wow, I love this color so very much. A smokey brown with blue/purple tones. So so lovely and will definitely be inking one of my pens with this one.
Van Dieman’s Birds of a Feather, Laughing Kookaburra Tail: This brown ink is sooo beautiful! It goes on very dark but dries down to the perfect chocolate brown and has that espresso sheen. Love this one and will be using it a lot!
Wearingeul The Autumn Night After A Thousand Years: This has since become a new favorite of mine. A beautiful Olive Green with Golden Glitter color. I have no words, it is stunning and I’ve already inked up my TWSBI Diamond 580 Rose Gold II (ef nib) with this and it’s just amazing! Swooning over the pen and ink combination.
Wearingeul, Alice in Wonderland, Queen of Hearts: Wow, I was very very surprise about this one. It’s a red shade with gold shimmer but the red is very much like a burgundy/wine. Love this very much and will be using it for the month of February hehe.
Wearingeul Stonecutter’s Song: Beautiful “greige” color. I’m a little bit iffy about this one for it’s pretty light. It’s a beautiful color which I think will be better with a broader nib.
Wearingeul, Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote: A reddish brown with gray undertones. It’s a really lovely color and I think it’s something I will be using quite often in my journals.
Ferris Wheel Press Peter Moss: I actually have a sample size of this and was playing around with it a few weeks ago and fell in love. So I’m really grateful that Vanness sent me a full bottle. It’s such a gorgeous green color and looks amazing with a fine nib. It has a bit of sheening (black). This is definitely something I will be using all-year-round.
Ferris Wheel Press Shangri La Hotels, Land of Shangri-la: For some reason, I thought this was a black… or really close to it but I was wrong. It’s an ashy brown with champagne shimmer and it is stunning! I’m gonna try this in a pen and see how I get on with it (I might need a bottle haha). It’s a gorgeous color.
Ferris Wheel Press Workshop Wishes (releases on 2/3/23): Beige with silver shimmer. Such a stunning color. This is another ink that will definitely be going in a pen very very soon.
Ferris Wheel Press Ligths on Broadway, Central Park Green, Grand Central Skies (releases on 2/3/23): What a lovely collection! The colors are so wonderful. My favorite is Central Park Green though Grand Central Skies is really tugging at my heart strings with that gorgeous shimmer.
