April Currently Inked

Hello hello. I can’t believe we’re into April already. Excited that we are that much closer to summer. I can’t wait to get back in my garden and spend most of my time outside in the sun and fresh air. Spring and summer is really something I look forward to. Anyways, I wanted to share with you my currently inked.

Of course I had roll-over pens haha.

TWSBI Eco Caffe with Bronze in an Extra Fine nib, inked with Wearingeul The Nightingale and the Rose – Thoughts: I’m still working on this pen… slowly but surely getting there. Love this combination.

Pilot x Hachimonjiya Book White Capless Decimo in a Fine nib, inked with Ferris Wheel Press Lady Rose – Thoughts: So close to finishing this pen. I really love the combination though so I might just re-ink it.

Platinum x Kobayashi Sakura Gozen #3776 Century in an Extra Fine nib, inked with Sailor Manyo Kuri – Thoughts: Still using this one consistently, specially in my weeks.

Sailor x Pen Point Pro Gear Cosmos in a Fine nib, inked with Sailor Manyo Azuki – Thoughts: Love this pen and ink combo. Hoping to write it dry this month.

Sailor Profit Junior White Night in a Calligraphy, inked with Ferris Wheel Press Billowing Blush – Thoughts: SO SO close haha. I have been enjoying using it in my journals.

Leonardo Momento Zero Nuvola w/ Gold Trim in an Extra Fine nib, inked with Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-Syogun – Thoughts: I haven’t used this in my journal just yet 🙁 But hoping to do so very soon.

Sailor Shikiori Kusa Asobi in a Fine nib, inked with Colorverse Coffee Break – Thoughts: Definitely LOVEEEE this combination. I’ve used it many times so far and will most likely finish it by end of the month.

And yes… more. The platinums here are roll-overs, but the rest are newly added.

Platinum 3776 Century, Maruzen Marunouchi × Sunrise Ouka in a Fine nib, inked with Scribo Rosa Antico – Thoughts: As much as I love this ink, I think this is the wrong pen to put it in. I have stopped using it and will clean it out. Hoping to use this ink in a different pen later on… Just need to figure out which one.

Platinum 3776 Century x NBC Chai-Tea in a Fine nib, inked with Nonble Tea Ink Chai – Thoughts: No words for this combination but love. Seriously so good together and I have been using it nonstop in my journal.

• Sailor x Posie Pro Gear Hanabira Mochi in a Broad nib, inked with Hosia Shing Tong – Thoughts: Wow, I surprisingly really like this nib size. It’s so fun writing with it and I love that I can see the shading of the ink.

• Sailor x Ancora Pro Gear Slim Mimoza in a Zoom nib inked with Lenon Toolbar Bubble Tea – Thoughts: Another fun pen with a fun nib. I mainly use this for lettering and such. I know you can write small with this, but I still need practice with how to hold it to get different line variation. Anyway, I love the ink that I put in this. It’s not legible so I can only ever put in a pen with a big nib.

• Sailor x Ancora Pro Gear Slim Mini April with Hard Medium Fine nib, inked with Vinta Liquid Sepia (Isabela 1999) – Thoughts: Oh how I have missed this pen 🙂 This pen has a really good nib. I’ve paired it with this ink from Vinta that’s one of my all time favorite. It’s actually a shimmery ink, I just didn’t suck up (as much to none) shimmer when putting it in this pen to make sure I don’t get any clogging.

• Sailor x Hachimonjiya Pro Gear Slim Mini Kubo Sakura Bloom Pink in Medium Fine nib, inked with Diamine Inkvent Cashmere Rose – Thoughts: The nib on this pen is really nice and the ink is actually a good pair. Sadly, I just think the ink color is too bright for me 🙁 I used it in a few of my spreads and it wrote so nicely though.
