Hello my planner friends! I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to share with you my new favorite thing/my recent find. First and foremost, I would personally like to call myself a collector when it comes to pen pouches and pen cases, planner bags and/or organizers, even. I don’t even know how many I have. Maybe a dozen? 20? But I can tell you that I don’t have one that can fit all my supplies AND my chunky A6 journal. So the past week or so.. I’ve been on a hunt for said planner “bag,” “pouch.”
I looked everywhere and even watched all the YouTube videos I could find. I first remembered this bag from Absent Studio – the BAO. I have seen this multiple times online and have swooned over it. Added it to cart many times but never bit the bullet on it. I recall seeing it in person one time while on a trip in Florida. A lovely lady was wearing it and it was really nice, though I could tell it was something I would never wear or carry around. As a petite person, it would look like a suitcase on me. Another thing is I don’t bring that many items with me to require such a large bag. Also, I would like more organizational compartments…
There’s always the Delfonics pouches. I have the small, which I love! And I for sure think I can fit my chunky A6 in the medium size. But my issue with these pouches are the pockets on the outside. Don’t get me wrong, they are handy and love all the different compartments but the outside pockets and such, I can totally do without. I just always think, things will get lost, specially during travel. I prefer to have all my things “inside” the bag where everything is completely secure.
So my search continues… I stumbled upon the Kokuyo Bag in Bag Tool Pen-Stand and wow! Love the shape and compartments. Though I don’t think my chunky A6 will fit, well, it might but it will be snug. Same with this iSuperb Pencil Case, love all the compartments but I just don’t think it has enough depth to fit my A6 journal. But like how cute are they right? I was definitely tempted but I just knew it wouldn’t work…
With no luck in the “pencil case” department… I went onto toiletry bags and makeup bags. In which I found this amazing item. This is the exact one that I purchased cirea Makeup Bag (I also found it here for slightly cheaper. And here’s another that I considered purchasing.) Anyways, I went with the cirea Makeup Bag because of the following…
- Opens and stays up right
- Lots of inside compartments
- Makeup brush holder – used as pen holder
- Lovely faux leather on the outside
- Will fit supplies + chunky A6 journal with room to spare!
- Not too big, not too small
I’m so excited to have a bag with that fits all my goodies! I honestly feel much better bringing it around with me now. Even on quick roadtrips, it’s nice to just grab a little bag and it’s all there. Before I would normally have my small delfonics, a fountain pen pouch and then my journal -three things stacked on each other. Now I just need this one bag! Did I mention the bag isn’t massive? Honestly in love and so glad to kept searching. Definitely check it out guys! For something under $20, this is totally worth it!
