How to keep a clean home

Hello loves ♥ It’s been a while since I last blogged, I hope you’re all doing well. So many things happening in the world right now… stay safe and positive loves. –For today’s post, I’m going to be sharing with you the things that I do around our home to keep it clean. Now please don’t think you have to do these, I’m not a professional, the list below is just what I do to keep our home clean and it is what works for us. So feel free to take it and tailor it to whatever works for you, your family and your home.

My Daily Habits, I feel, is what really helps keep our home clean. Again, feel free to tailor it to what works for you and your home. ♥

Daily Habits

▸ Make the bed: What better way to start your day with something easy right? I always feel that sort of accomplishment whenever I do this first thing in the morning.
▸ Tidy up as you go: Before you walk away from whatever you just did, clean up. It’ll be less work later.
▸ Wipe it down: Kind of the same as tidy up but another step up. Honestly with a toddler I feel like this is a must.
▸ Tackle a load of laundry: Okay, I’m not going to say that by doing this, you will not have laundry to do later because that’s just not true. Laundry is a never ending task. But save yourself the hassle of doing so many loads in one day by doing one everyday. I mean, who wants to do laundry all weekend right?
▸ Clean after cooking: Same as tidy up as you go but make it a point! Especially to the husbands! (haha just kidding, kind of)
▸ Do the dishes: Another thing that I know not everyone likes to do, but at least do it by end of the day. Who wants dirty dishes sitting out? No one…
▸ Straighten up by end of day: I mainly focus on this in our most “lived in” areas, like the kitchen, living room and bedroom. So just pick up those toys, load the dishwasher, wipe down the counter tops, straighten up the pillows on the couch… Trust me, nothing beats waking up to a clean space the next morning!
