My favorite colors are pink, white and gold – well, okay, let’s be honest >.< I love everything pastel. I also really wanted my room to coordinate with the rest of our house, just so it has that flow... So I mixed a bit of old, new and shabby :) If that makes sense. All these images were found on Pinterest.

Before & After

Before, this room had dark purple walls, underneath the purple was a bright neon green! LOL definitely was a teenager’s room. This room also had beige carpet, mirrored closet doors and a flush mount light fixture; And oddly enough, they painted the moldings in this room an off white color.

The first thing we did was tear out the carpet. After having carpet in my last beauty room/office, I learned that it’s easier to have floor – in case I drop makeup or spill something. It’ll be easier to keep clean 🙂 I wanted hardwood floors but Menards (where we get everything lol) didn’t carry anything I really liked. What I ended up choosing is actually vinly plank flooring –Paramount from Menards.
I love how this turned out ♥ The color was exactly what I wanted! It looks really good, like real wood! It even has the texture. I just love it 🙂

The paint I chose for the room is Nice White by Sherwin Williams. I wanted a shade of white but have a pink hint to it so the freshly white painted moldings in the room will pop. We also changed the mirrored closet doors and change the light fixture to a chandelier.
