Today I will be showing you guys the official invites for our groomsmen and bearers. 🙂 I decided to make them myself for I love the challenge! Plus this way is a lot cheaper than buying each card and you guys know how much I love adding my personal touch to things hehe.
To make the invites I purchased these at Target – Gartner Studios, 50 Flat Cards & Envelopes in Ivory for only $9.99.
The cards are 5.5 x 8.5 inches and the envelopes are 8.75 x 5.75 inches.
In the Filipino tradition there’s not only a ring bearer but there’s also a coin bearer and a bible bearer. Since we only have two little boys in our family we are not going to have a bible bearer (since the bible is going to be up at the altar already any way right? hehe). Anyways, the invites for our bearers are from Wedding Chicks Free Printables.
I think it is just so cute, plus it’s free!!!
You might notice that the original printables has borders and the ones I printed off does not. It is because I didn’t like how it looked on the card, so I just zoomed in a little. Also, there’s only one for a “Ring Bearer” so I actually did edit the “Coin Bearer” invite by using Photoshop.
Best Man & Groomsmen
As for our Best Man & Groomsmen I actually created this simple gold bow tie on Illustrator and did the rest on Photoshop. I think it turned out pretty well. I also printed off the boy’s addresses on the envelopes which I think added a bit more to it 🙂 What do you think?
That’s pretty much it! I hope you all like this post and found it helpful in some way. If I can figure it out, I will have this invite that I created available for download as a free printable. That’d be pretty cool right? xoxo
